Wednesday, January 16. 2008Microsoft seeks patent for office 'spy' software Microsoft is developing Big Brother-style software capable of remotely monitoring a worker’s productivity, physical wellbeing and competence.
The Times has seen a patent application filed by the company for a computer system that links workers to their computers via wireless sensors that measure their metabolism. The system would allow managers to monitor employees’ performance by measuring their heart rate, body temperature, movement, facial expression and blood pressure. Unions said they fear that employees could be dismissed on the basis of a computer’s assessment of their physiological state. Technology allowing constant monitoring of workers was previously limited to pilots, firefighters and Nasa astronauts. This is believed to be the first time a company has proposed developing such software for mainstream workplaces. Microsoft submitted a patent application in the US for a “unique monitoring system” that could link workers to their computers. Wireless sensors could read “heart rate, galvanic skin response, EMG, brain signals, respiration rate, body temperature, movement facial movements, facial expressions and blood pressure”, the application states. The system could also “automatically detect frustration or stress in the user” and “offer and provide assistance accordingly”. Physical changes to an employee would be matched to an individual psychological profile based on a worker’s weight, age and health. If the system picked up an increase in heart rate or facial expressions suggestive of stress or frustration, it would tell management that he needed help. _________________________________________________ One step closer to the future. Stepfather charged in rape, killing of girl Man's friend also charged in murder of 9-year-old after body found in cave NEOSHO, Mo. - Two men were charged Saturday with murder and rape in the death of a 9-year-old girl whose body was found the day before in a hillside cave in southwest Missouri. Barry County prosecutors charged the girl’s 24-year-old stepfather, David Spears, and his friend, Chris Collings, 32, with one count each of first-degree murder, forcible rape and statutory rape in the death of Rowan Ford. _________________________________________________ Do we really need to spend anyhing for a trial? I think not! Read more HERE Saturday, September 22. 2007Kid Rock vs.Tommy Lee could be the fight of the century Forget all those bullshit reality shows, unknown people pretending to be in pain. Forget big brother, don't know quite what that is about anyway, and that is after watching all I could stomach of the beginning show and an ending show. What a crock that was. Actually I never thought I would see nothing worse than survivor but that show took the prize. How bout something much more interesting? Something for normal people to watch. Normal people do not watch shows like the ones mentioned above.
In case you haven't heard, Kid Rock and Tommy Lee got into a scuffle at the MTV RAP Awards show. Can't really call it music awards anymore. It used to be about musicians but has slowly turned into a gum flapper and button pusher award type thing. Ask them what a C# Major is and you would probably get an answer like "That is Maj. Nelson from I Dream of Jeanie in a tuxedo." Sadly music and being a real musician is becoming a thing of the past. But anyway, the day after the scuffle a Vegas promoter Jeff Beacher offered $1 million dollars to stage a boxing match between the two artists. Will it happen? I don't know, but it would be worth watching if it did. Just to let you know Kid Rock got the best of that little scuffle, by all who witnessed it. Take all that crap ass stuff off tv and put something on worth watching. I couldn't care less about celebrities actions, what they wear, who they see, how they live and I really can't understand why anyone would. But I would watch this in a heartbeat. Put some dignity back in television, give us a good show. Give us Tommy Lee and Kid Rock in the ring. NOW THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT! Thursday, September 20. 2007JENA, LA - I have a solution that will end the controversyThis isn't about ropes in trees. If that was the case then then do I have a right to get six of my friends and go beat someone unconscience and kick them until the paramedics think that the person is dead, just because they posted a picture of Jessie Jackson on my lawn. Would there be 65,000 blacks there to support me? I don't think so, even though that would be wrong for me to do that, just like it was totally wrong for these six to do what they did. This trial and situation is because of six people jumping on a person and trying to end his life. That is what the legal situation is. It is not about Black or White.
I have a good solution for this. I think they should have a corridor set up and have the same six people that did this stand in the corridor and then line up the 65,000 people, starting with that fat ass Al Sharpton, and make them walk through the corridor and the 6 have to attack them the way they attacked this one dude. And when they all get to the other side of the corridor do you think they will still think the same way? It's about being beaten to death. I don't give a shit how you look at it, it is wrong. It is legally wrong and morally wrong. Those 6 should get everything that can possibly be given to them. That is the ones that will more than likely end up shooting some young cop in the future that is trying to protect me and you. But here we have 65,000 people that can't understand anything about the law, or anything about what is going to happen in the future if this goes unpunished. I don't agree with what someone did with the ropes. That is not right, but that is not a physical blow either. So why do you have 65,000 people running to the support of someone that did something that is against the law? Is it because they want no law? I see these same people on the news every day complaining that their neighborhood is getting shot up and their kids are dying and they want more police protection and involvement. Yet they rush to support 6 criminals. Isn't that like spitting into the wind? munkee Sunday, August 26. 2007Big Brother - Bullshit in it's highest form! Are there actually other human beings that can stomach trash like this. All I have to say is that I pity them, if there actually are. If you are one of them you must have a lowly existence on this earth, or probably on the verge of committing suicide. I haven't seen such a boring ass, shit filled show as this in a good while. I could personally only stomach about 5 minutes of it. Any longer than that and I would have had to throw up. My stomach is still rumbling!!! Saturday, August 25. 2007The Xbox360, just a thought Yet another circle of death on the 360 for me. Can't say that I wasn't expecting it, considering this is probably the worst built piece of crap on the market for games. I am not saying anything about the games nor the interface that Microshaft has built up for the LIVE community. It is rather nice although cluttered as hell. But that is typical Microshaft's way, isn't it.
But one thing came to mind today as I was playing my PS3, which I might add is very well built, quit, sleek looking and runs very smooth. I have known a few people with money. Not your average get by everyday type money, I am talking Millions and some that will get there. In their home they have top quality appliances, entertainment, cars, etc. I couldn't help thinking that if Bill Gates didn't own the company, I would bet everything that I own that he would not buy an Xbox360, just because it is a shoddy built piece of equipment. Do you think he furnishes his house with second and third rate appliances and entertainment equipment? I surely wouldn't think so. Funny thing is, I have known some to buy a second piece of crap to send in to be fixed by microshaft.... hahahahaha. Now explain that to me? I guess Microshaft put the idea that crap isn't really WHITE so they told them that they would make it BLACK so you can see that it really is crap. Only thing I can figure.... Thursday, August 16. 2007Pentagon Paid $998,798 to Ship Two 19-Cent Washers. Wait a minute! Isn't the Pentagon part of the government? The same government that wouldn't let me get $110 worth of food stamps when our house burn Aug. 16 (Bloomberg) -- A small South Carolina parts supplier collected about $20.5 million over six years from the Pentagon for fraudulent shipping costs, including $998,798 for sending two 19-cent washers to an Army base in Texas, U.S. officials said.
The company also billed and was paid $455,009 to ship three machine screws costing $1.31 each to Marines in Habbaniyah, Iraq, and $293,451 to ship an 89-cent split washer to Patrick Air Force Base in Cape Canaveral, Florida, Pentagon records show. The owners of C&D Distributors in Lexington, South Carolina -- twin sisters -- exploited a flaw in an automated Defense Department purchasing system: bills for shipping to combat areas or U.S. bases that were labeled ``priority'' were usually paid automatically, said Cynthia Stroot, a Pentagon investigator. _________________________________________________ Are they paying people to sit on their asses and cruise the internet in the billing department for the government? How can this stuff still be going on? Wasn't it about 25 years ago that they found that they had paid $20,000.00 each for 2 toilet seats. It says one thing. The people are not doing their job. They could probably shit can the whole department and hire new people from the Job Service and get better results. So what is the damn problem. You and I would loose our job for not doing it. I bet you that none of the persons that was supposed to keep this from happening lost their job. Same goes for the welfare and social help programs. So many people are ripping it off that the ones that really do need the help are not getting it. I want to be a welfare cop, on patrol for ripoffs. I want to be the person to oversee the billing at the pentagon. It doesn't take a genius, it takes dedication and a desire to do the job. It does take a few math skills. Maybe they hired a bunch of people that can't add 4+5+2. My biggest problem is why in the hell is this going on? There has to be a very simple answer. I want to know what it is! Do you go out in the public, or better yet are you confined to a cave for the rest of your life?
Chances are pretty good that 100% of us fall into one of these categories, and you have been around an African American. I have been around them all my life and I can say with a certain amount of confidence that pretty much any one of them would say the same thing about this girl ![]() if she were to strut her stuff across there line of site. I have seen it many, many times. Hell, she has probably heard it many, many times. But now it has ruined her life? What crock of shit is that. There is an old saying that a majority of us learned at an early age, very early. "Sticks and Stones can break my bones, but words can never hurt me." And to think that Al Sharpton was going to run for president. Is there any other way that we can show the world how damn ignorant we are than to even consider that fool for such an important office. He is a money leech and jumps in the spotlight whenever he sees the slightest chance to get his name in the paper. I can't believe any of the so called "Major News Stations" would even think about having him on their show for any type of commentary. That is why I quit watching TV. The whole shit and shebang has turned into a circus, a circus of freeloading fools and clowns. Friday, August 3. 2007Blogs are cool, if you do not work! Hey Mr Bush, can you spare a dime?Man, since I have been back to the rat race, slaving, working for Louisiana 1940 scale wages, it is hard to spend time writing anything. I have practically given up just about everything for the dollar. But what you gonna do? I found out that food was a good thing, but of course that is if you eat the right things. I really like Milkyway candy bars, pineapple, cheese, and Diet Coke. Damn that sounds like a feast..
Not really a lot going on either. Same ole thing DA WAR, and DA GOVERNMENT.. kind of burns you out. I have to admit I voted for Bush, he seemed intelligent enough to handle the situation. But today I am having a real hard time trying to understand his stubbornness. I realize that cutting it dry and leaving is not a good thing and could actually do more harm than good. But I am equally disappointed that he has let his own country go to the dogs. TOO much money is being spent on this thing. It is not like it will return any benefits. It seems to me that we have burned that bridge already and the longer we stay without showing any sign of letting the people of Iraq handle their own affairs and have their own country back the further we will be burning them. There has been harm and there has been some good. But it is time to worry about OUR country, OUR people, OUR borders, OUR health care, OUR children's education. If it is tough you want, then get our country back on it's legs and and support your people and land. Our pride will show as always. I understand that it is far more complicated than just a fight, but there is also a limit to what we can do for others. Countries are built on business, and this business decision is not going good at all. When you are spending and spending and nothing coming back, how can you survive? If we have that much money to spare why not spare a little on the people, the people that made this country what it is, the people that work for nothing and strive to be something every day in a world where there seems like there is no hope. The billions of dollars that are being mishandled, lost, and misused in a country where only a few appreciate it could really help your own country out about now. Monday, July 2. 2007Man kills would-be thief who tried to take wheel rims off his Mercedes. GOOD JOB and GOOD RIDDANCE BALTIMORE - A man was taken into custody Friday morning after he fatally shot a man who tried to steal the rims off his 2006 Mercedes, police said.
The car owner was leaving his home for work around 5:30 a.m. when he saw a man messing with the car, Detective Donny Moses said. The owner shot the man once in the upper body. The would-be thief got into a car and drove off, but crashed a short time later. He was pronounced dead at a hospital, and the car owner was taken into custody after police found him in his doorway with a handgun. Detectives were interviewing the homeowner and charges were pending, Moses said. _________________________________________________ The only thing I see wrong with this is that the guy actually got in his car a drove away. So the one that shot him had a bad aim or something. The correct way to do this is one bullet between the eyes. That way even if he did move he would have a hell of a time seeing where he is going. Congratulations to the car owner. And always remember, if you kill a low life thief you are helping the rest mankind that have to live on this planet together. Tuesday, May 22. 2007Baby Burned In Microwave Also Put In Fridge: Why waste money with a trial? GALVESTON - A man charged with injuring his daughter by putting her in a microwave oven also placed her in a refrigerator and in a hotel room safe, a police detective testified Tuesday.
Joshua Mauldin, 19, of Warren, Ark., tossed his daughter on one hotel room bed, then the other, then struck her in the groin before putting her in the appliances and safe, Galveston Police Detective Holly Johnson during a bail reduction hearing. State District Judge Susan Criss denied the request to reduce Mauldin's bail from $250,000 to $100,000. The May 10 incident happened as Mauldin, his wife and daughter were moving to Galveston, where Mauldin planned to be a preacher. Left alone in the hotel room with his daughter, Mauldin "became agitated," Johnson said. Investigators found human tissue in the microwave that matched the burns on the left side of the girl's face and her left hand. Police said the infant was in the oven 10 to 20 seconds. The two-month-old girl, who had two skin grafts, was released from the Shriners Burn Hospital on Monday and into the care of foster parents who were trained on how to tend to her medical needs. _________________________________________________ I fail to see where this guy deserves any leniency or even a trial. He should be hung in a state pen corridor upside down with no pants on for the rest of his natural born life. And even that is to good for him. A preacher? What the hell is that all about. Sounds like he was getting ready to hide behind the pulpit for his deeds. I am glad they caught him before that happened and you would have had all the do goodies taking up for him. If I were the judge I would not waste any state or federal funds on this human trash. Also if I were a lawyer I don't know if I could be appointed to defend someone like this. I would just as soon as shoot him in his cell and be done with it.. Read more HERE Wednesday, May 16. 2007Good thing this guy is black. If he was WHITE he would be JOBLESS. If you are white, you can't speak the truth. Sad world indeed... Quoted from The Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, founder and president of BOND
About five years ago, in a debate before the National Association of Black Journalists, I stated that if whites were to just leave the United States and let blacks run the country, they would turn America into a ghetto within 10 years. The audience, shall we say, disagreed with me strongly. Now I have to disagree with me. I gave blacks too much credit. It took a mere three days for blacks to turn the Superdome and the convention center into ghettos, rampant with theft, rape and murder. President Bush is not to blame for the rampant immorality of blacks. Had New Orleans' black community taken action, most would have been out of harm's way. But most were too lazy, immoral and trifling to do anything productive for themselves. All Americans must tell blacks this truth. It was blacks' moral poverty – not their material poverty – that cost them dearly in New Orleans. _________________________________________________ About 10 years ago, I can't remember exactly, but David Duke was running for senator or something in Louisiana. He stood in front of a crowd and gave his speech on bringing down the budget, the causes of New Orleans tax woes, welfare reform and in general the problems effecting the city and the answer to get the city back to it's feet. Of course the media took it and ran! Calling him a racist and this that and the other. But the man spoke the honest truth. His reasoning was fair and based on studies, was a very good speech. But the media doomed it within 5 minutes because it makes headlines. A few months after that New Orleans was searching and interviewing candidates for the position of Police Chief of N.O. The leading candidate was the man that got it. He was from Atlanta and to be honest with you I can't remember his name or if he is the same Police Chief that we have now. But the funny thing was you could have took his little speech and held it up to David Dukes speech and checked the items off that matched and there would be no items left to compare. Did the public or the media jump on that? You guessed it, a big ass "NO." What really gets me though, is the publics acceptance to this type of thing and the governments sealed lips about this type of inequality. Is this fair. Is this a democracy? Should we delete the "freedom of speech" from our constitution? Because it is definitely not being used and if you do use this so called "right" it could end your career, your livelihood and possibly your life. Is that any different from the countries where you are sent to jail for speaking the truth? Yet we condemn these countries for that, and practice it ourselves. LAKE LUZERNE, N.Y. - A young man shot himself Saturday without using a gun.
Saturday, April 28. 20074-inch Lake County Chihuahua may be world's smallest dog: That wouldn't be a dog, That's a rat! LEESBURG - Meet tiny Dancer, a rust-colored, long-haired Chihuahua that may just be the world's smallest dog, weighing 18 ounces and standing not much more than 4 inches tall.
Dancer's owner, Jenny Gomes, said the diminutive Lake County canine may be on his way to being named the world's smallest living dog by Guinness World Records. And Dancer may have a legitimate claim to the title. The last smallest dog -- measured by height -- was Danka Kordak of Slovakia, which stood 5.4 inches high, according to Guinness officials. But that long-haired Chihuahua died. And Gomes said her Dancer is slightly smaller at 4.1 inches, from foot to the top of the shoulder. Born June 8, Dancer can't officially claim the title until he is 1 year old. _________________________________________________ Who in the hell would want a 4 inch tall dog? That's not a dog. I consider Chihuahua's footballs to start with. They just look like they were made for drop kicking. Or maybe to use for soccer practice if you are from Mexico. What a waste of the name to call this rat a dog! Pictures and more about this freak animal HERE Friday, April 27. 2007Saudi police uncover new aircraft terror plot: How can they do it and we can't? Police in Riyadh say that they have arrested Islamic militants who were being trained as pilots to fly suicide attacks on Saudi Arabia’s oil fields.
The Saudi interior ministry issued a statement saying that the 172 detainees held in raids today were involved in plots to carry out suicide atttacks against “public figures, oil facilities, refineries ... and military zones". Some of the planned targets were outside the Saudi kingdom. “They had reached an advance stage of readiness and what remained only was to set the zero hour for their attacks,” Brigadier Mansour al-Turki, an interior ministry spokesman, told the Associated Press news agency. “They had the personnel, the money, the arms. Almost all the elements for terror attacks were complete, except for setting the zero hour for the attacks.” _________________________________________________ 172 people, yet we have a hard time finding the 2nd or third person involved in these type things. I'll tell you why. Because we have people bitching and moaning about how you treat someone that wants to blow your ass up or kill you. Those people over there don't screw around. They do what they need to do to survive and take care of buisness. Break a few fingers to save a million, it makes perfect sense. But can you do that here? Sometimes I just don't understand why people don't see what we are up against, and what you need to do to combat it. There is an old saying. I really don't know how old it is, but the saying is "Fight fire with fire." But in todays society in this country we have people that want to change that to "Fight fire with Candy and Gifts." Maybe that will work a very small percentage of times, but when you are dealing with crazed death dealing religious nuts that are brain washed by more determined fruit cakes, money and gifts have no effect. Yet we bow down to these bleeding hearts and sacrifice our safety and security. That is one of the main reasons we are not doing so well in Iraq, that's the reason we don't know any more than we do by holding those people in Guantanamo, that's the reason we can not see the Trade Center today, and that's the reason we will loose to these people eventually. Because they don't play games, and we do. They understand the situation also. It only adds to their confidence. Read more HERE |
